How superdarke14/etch-a-sketch works
Purpose and Entry Point
A small static browser application with no README, backend, build system, or package manifest. The application is served directly from index.html, which loads presentation rules from styles.css and client behavior from javascript.js.
Document Shell
index.html is the primary composition boundary: it defines the DOM structure, user-visible content, and the elements that JavaScript can bind to. It is also the browser entry point and likely references both styles.css and javascript.js.
Paths:
• index.html
Client Interaction Layer
javascript.js contains all runtime behavior executed in the browser. With no server-side source present, UI state, event handling, DOM updates, and any browser API use must reside here.
Paths:
• javascript.js
Presentation Layer
styles.css controls layout, visual hierarchy, responsive behavior, and UI state styling. It is separated from the HTML structure and JavaScript behavior, forming the application’s rendering boundary.
Paths:
• styles.css
Runtime and Deployment Model
The only material runtime is a web browser. The repository can be deployed as static assets through any HTTP server, CDN, or local file/static-server workflow. No external services, databases, APIs, infrastructure definitions, or dependency managers are visible.
Paths:
• index.html
• javascript.js
• styles.css
Non-Product Artifacts
.index.html.swp, .javascript.js.swp, and .styles.css.swp are editor swap files rather than application components. They should not participate in deployment or runtime behavior.
Paths:
• .index.html.swp
• .javascript.js.swp
• .styles.css.swp
