How clipcurator/awesome-ai-short-drama-tools works
Purpose and Entry Points
This is a static, curated resource hub for evaluating AI short-drama creation tools and workflows. It does not implement an AI generation product. Human-facing content begins at index.html; repository-level guidance and category framing live in README.md and README.zh-CN.md.
Static Site Presentation
index.html is the browser entry point and likely renders the public directory or landing-page experience. There is no application source tree, server runtime, build system, or backend shown, so delivery is expected through static-file hosting.
Paths: index.html, README.md
Tool Catalog as Core Data
The repository separates tool records from presentation through data/tools.json. This file is the architecture-defining content source for a directory: it can represent tool names, categories, descriptions, links, and evaluation-oriented metadata consumed by the static page or maintained independently.
Paths: data/tools.json, data
Creation-Workflow Taxonomy
The content models AI short-drama work as a staged pipeline rather than a single text-to-video capability: ideation, concept validation, worldbuilding, character design, outlining, scriptwriting, visualization, storyboarding, camera planning, and video output. This taxonomy is the primary organizational boundary for catalog entries and comparisons.

Tool Category Boundaries
The resource distinguishes end-to-end AI film studios from specialized video generators, writing tools, and image/character-design tools. The main control flow is reader-driven: identify the production need, map it to a category, then follow external product references for evaluation. The repository itself does not invoke those services.
Paths: README.md, index.html, data/tools.json
Localization and Content Maintenance
English and Simplified Chinese documentation provide parallel discovery paths for a bilingual audience. Catalog and site updates are content-management changes: maintainers edit structured records in data/tools.json and supporting editorial guidance in the README files.
Paths: README.md, README.zh-CN.md, data/tools.json
Runtime, Infrastructure, and External Services
Material runtime requirements are only a web browser and static hosting for index.html and data/. The documented external dependency surface is outbound links to third-party AI creation platforms, including LumenLine’s public site; those services remain outside this repository’s execution boundary.
